CERTIFICATE SEED LEARNERS PROGRAM (CSL)
CSL Program, which is Impactful Certification from SeedWorks in association with AgMatrix to build the Seed Industry talent pipeline, successfully started on 23rd Oct 2021 with a massive response of participants. CSL Program is designed to equip participants with end-to-end know-how of the seed industry by highly experienced professionals to make them industry ready for new roles. It was a great learning experience by one of the distinguished leaders of SeedWorks on the Day 1 session by Mr Baljinder Nandra, Vice-President (Govt. & Regulatory affairs) on “Basics of Seed R&D, its future aspects and Govt. Regulatory affairs”
Thanks to Mr Baljinder Singh Nandra Sir for such a wonderful & insightful session which started at 10.30 am till 2 pm, followed by an evaluation test. Very informative knowledge sharing session topics covered imp key aspects of the seed industry. Key learnings & take ways were on topics of commercial breeding and Govt. regulatory Affairs, Basics of seed, Regulations, Product life cycle and marketing strategies, tools to accelerate the genetic gain, product and trait delivery timeline, germplasm diversity- Cereals , Vegetables and Fruits , Seed Acts, status of seed bills, Amendments , Hybrid varietal release process, EPA NBA, Exim, plant quarantine , Pesticides act etc.
