Greetings and pleased to share updates further to my communication on April 15th, 2019 on our intention to invest in Field Crops – Pearl Millet and Mustard.
On behalf of the SeedWorks Leadership team I have the pleasure of announcing that we have acquired 100% shares of Krishna Research Seeds Private Ltd (KRSPL), The transaction has been completed on, 27th May 2019 at Agra. Krishna Research Seeds Private Ltd (KRSPL) is now a fully owned subsidiary of Seed Works International Private Ltd (SWIPL).
The 25Year old company based out of Agra was promoted by Goyal Brothers (Mr. Anil Kumar Goyal, Mr. Salil Kumar Goyal & Mr. Sandeep Kumar Goyal). They have proprietary research in Pearl Millet and Mustard, reliable supply chain, an established distribution network and a strong brand equity. They sell their Pearl Millet and Mustard under the umbrella brand KRISHNA SEED / KRISHNA BEEJ in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Haryana and Gujarat.
Seed Works will get a ready-made platform in Pearl Millet and Mustard crops and we will work towards consolidating and taking the business to the next level.
