Mr Ajay Juneja, Business Head – Vegetable Crops delivered a talk on “Changing Skill vs Change the Skill: – Reflection on Indian Seed Industry” in Erudition – Virtual Webinar series on 23rd Oct 2020 at NAARM, Hyderabad.
In his address, he guided the audience into the world of skills on the cornerstone of the seed business. His talk reflected elements of Global seed industry, Indian Seed Industry, SeedWorks business, SeedWorks initiatives on skill development followed by the detailed expert analysis on significance, status, and prospects of Skills in Seed Sector. In the talk, he flashed the real-time examples via US Rainbow Thinking, US flanking strategy and Kaushal- our flagship program at SeedWorks.
The critical point of discussion was on skill development, and the interaction ranged from generational shifts, skill differentiation, the importance of skill development, to the changing skill requirements. He motivated budding managers to focus on skill development to succeed in the Agribusiness industry. He shared some daily life scenes as examples to correlate with, which encouraged attendees to be the best fit in the ever-changing scenario.
