A Live session on Fasal Kranti’s Facebook Page was delivered by MD and CEO Mr. Venkatraman Vasantavada on the topic “Changing Course- Leveraging Mediums; Recalibrating Business Approach” where he spoke about how the pandemic has transformed lives and became a new normal for all of us, also the initiatives taken by SeedWorks to keep the business running by following all the advisories.
While moving ahead, we kept “Safety and Security” as our prime responsibility and priority for all our employees, associates, and team members by providing continuous advisory support. The incredible brace and support that we got from Telangana state Government and Ministry of Farmers and Agriculture Welfare was magnanimous in streamlining seed Processing, seed Packaging and Logistics from Hyderabad to different states across India. He showed gratitude towards Agri Warriors who stood like fighters and thanked them in addressing food security and ensuring timely availability of seed to farmers.
He discussed about SeedWorks exemplary initiatives during the pandemic. The initiatives transformed all our traditional ways and standard procedure of conducting meetings and connecting with our customers, channel partners and field teams from physical space to virtual world while maintaining social distancing. That helped us to leverage existing mediums like Facebook, YouTube, WhatsApp, and other multiple digital platforms as well.
These initiatives were designed keeping in mind the three most important pillars of our business: Farmers, Channel Partners and Employees. The Campaigns on Facebook page not only created awareness but also helped in spreading messages to more than 5 lakh people , in terms of fighting war against Corona through our socially relevant educative campaigns like India Fights Back #Corona – A free hand Drawing competition, a competition to engage our employees : What’s your Self Quarantine routine and Women our Real Heroes; Nari ko Salam for all her contributions. We connected and engaged channel partners using digital platforms such as e-Sampark, Jigyasa along with the conventional mediums.
He concluded the session by saying “With great adversity comes great opportunity for innovation. We have come out much more confident post Covid-19 and will continue to reach and serve our stakeholders.
