Education: Graduate in Engineering, preferably in IT/Computer Science or related areas
Job Purpose
- To design, develop, deploy and enable maintaining of IT/Digital products as identified by the business and stakeholders, using internal resources and external vendors.
Key Accountabilities
Product Identification & Scoping
- Assist the internal stakeholders in defining the product requirements and specifications, based on the application, functional and business need
- Create the required User Requirements Specifications (URS) and Functional Specifications Requirement (FSR) documents
- Define the product strategy & road map for each of the products
Product Development & Deployment
- In conjunction with the IT Vendor team identify the appropriate vendor for the development of the product
- Participate, clarify and negotiate the technical aspects, including that pertaining to technology stack and frameworks, of the product development
- Review the Product Development process and ensure that the timelines and quality, through appropriate testing protocols (load, VPAT)
- Deploy the product as per the business requirement
- Review and monitor the Product Versioning process
- Put in place a process for collecting and incorporating user feedback on the products
Product Governance
- Design and implement the Product Governance Framework – covering aspects of design, distribution, monitoring and
- Develop and implement appropriate Risk Management processes with respect to the product and the associated data
- Ensure that all products meet the regulatory requirements in terms of data security, personal information protection and other aspects
- Drive the change management process and ensure successful adoption of all digital applications
